By 2040, experts estimate that seniors will make up 25% of Florida’s population.
This growing population has special health care needs, and now MetroHealth is even better positioned to help Central Florida seniors. Though our office officially began seeing patients in July, on October 13 we held the grand opening for our office in East Orlando. Orlando’s ABC News affiliate, WFTV, covered the event. In addition, Sen. Marco Rubio sent staff members on his behalf to deliver a proclamation offering his support for the new office.
Located on 10025 East Colonial Drive in East Orlando, this new, 6,000 square-foot facility represents MetroHealth’s commitment to Central Florida’s senior population and strengthens our mission of providing our clients more than the average health care provider.
We spent more than $2 million to build this office because seniors deserve the best care we can give them. The new, state-of-the art building has eight patient exam rooms, six offices and a conference room. We’ll also continue to offer Medicare Advantage patients several services at no additional charge, including transportation to and from physician appointments, acupuncture and home-visits when necessary.
MetroHealth’s East Orlando office is conveniently located near the 104 LYNX line, the 417 and 408 Expressways. We’re excited about growing our practice, and we look forward to continuing to serve as your partner in health.
