Lesley Allen is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She received her master’s degree from the University of South Florida, and her bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University.

Prior to joining the Metro Health team, Lesley developed a passion for working with the geriatric population in Ocala, Florida.  She spent most of her 16-year nursing career at Orlando Health.  Her experience as an APRN includes caring for patients in the hospital as well as in long term care and skilled rehabilitation facilities.

Lesley enjoys working with the geriatric population, mostly because she feels that they also have something to offer, and can learn from them. She is dedicated to genuinely treating each patient as if they were her parent.

Outside of work, Lesley enjoys the water, outdoors, and traveling to the Smoky Mountains.
