Christine A. Newcomer, RN, GNP, DNP is a Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in nursing and advanced practice care. She has extensive experience caring for older adults in a variety of settings, including primary care, hospital medicine, long-term care, rehabilitation, and home-based supportive care. Her clinical focus includes geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and supportive care for patients with complex health needs. In addition to her clinical work, she has also served as nursing faculty, helping educate future nurses and contributing to the development of advanced nursing programs. Dr. Newcomer is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care that helps seniors maintain their health, independence, and quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys animals and pets—especially puppies, bears, and manatees—and is a dedicated football fan who proudly supports the Pittsburgh Steelers.
