Comorbidities

At MetroHealth, we understand the impact that age has on the body. Our extensive training has prepared us to handle all chronic conditions. We specialize in care for comorbidities, which is the presence of two or more diseases or disorders co-occurring in the body. With age, it’s common to develop four or more chronic conditions at once. That’s where we come in. We will identify and help you manage your comorbidities so you can continue to have more healthy days.

  • Arthritis and other rheumatic diseases
  • Diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Heart disease
  • Dyslipidemia
  • Renal insufficiency
  • Coronary artery disease
  • Cerebrovascular disease

Coronary artery disease is likely to be comorbid with high blood pressure (hypertension), just like cardiovascular disease and diabetes tend to be comorbid with each other. Additionally, all of the above can be comorbid at the same time.
